Self-actuating thermostatic solutions for equipment protection, process support, and personnel safety applications.
View ProductsTemperature Control for Pharmaceutical Manufacturing
Pharmaceutical manufacturing requires dependable support systems throughout production, cleaning, sterilization, sampling, and facility operations. High-temperature discharge can damage drain piping, excessive sample temperatures can compromise downstream instrumentation, and pumps and exposed water systems require protection from temperature-related failures.
ThermOmegaTech® provides self-actuating thermostatic valves and equipment that respond directly to temperature without external power or electronic controls. This mechanical operation provides automatic temperature-based control for critical systems while reducing dependence on manual operation and additional control components.

Applications We Support
Industrial Drain Tempering
Protect PVC drain piping and sewer systems against high-temperature discharge from autoclaves, sterilizers, boilers, and other equipment. Industrial Tempering Valves automatically introduce cold water to temper wastewater, helping prevent heat-related damage and meet code requirements for allowable discharge temperatures.
High-Temperature Sample Shutoff
Protect analyzers and sampling equipment from process samples that exceed allowable temperature limits. HST thermostatic shutoff valves provide automatic over-temperature protection by stopping sample flow when temperatures become too high, preventing hot process fluids from reaching and damaging critical downstream instrumentation.
High-Temperature Washdown
Support equipment and facility cleaning with high-temperature water. STVM® steam and water mixing stations use a facility’s existing steam and water supply to deliver hot water for washdown applications, while the self-scouring, replaceable cartridge design simplifies maintenance, helping reduce maintenance costs and production downtime.
Tepid Water Delivery
Provide reliable tepid water for emergency showers and eyewash stations to help meet OSHA and ANSI requirements. ESS electric water heaters store water at an elevated temperature and use a thermostatic mixing valve to deliver tepid water at the required outlet temperature, helping control Legionella risk. Therm-O-Mix® Stations provide a compact, spark-proof alternative for facilities with an available steam and water supply.
Freeze Protection
Prevent freeze damage to exposed water piping, instrumentation, condensate systems, and emergency safety equipment. Thermostatic freeze protection valves automatically open and close in response to temperature, helping prevent freeze-related downtime and maintenance costs while providing a cost-effective alternative to manual draining or continuous water flow.
Pump Seal Water Control
Maintain reliable seal cooling and quench water flow on process, CIP, and other pumps while reducing unnecessary water consumption. EcoFlow® responds to seal temperature to automatically supply water only when needed, reducing water use, associated energy consumption, and operating costs without relying on operators to manage cooling water manually.
Why Self-Actuating Technology?
Automatic Temperature Control Without External Power
ThermOmegaTech® valves respond directly to temperature without electricity, sensors, or electronic controls. This mechanical operation provides automatic flow control for sampling, cleaning, equipment protection, and personnel safety applications throughout pharmaceutical manufacturing facilities.
- No external power or electronic controls
- Direct response to local temperature conditions
- Automatic operation without operator intervention
- Pressure-independent operation
- Fewer control components to maintain
