FOR ENGINEERS AND OPERATORS MANAGING CRITICAL SYSTEMS

Who we are

ThermOmegaTech® was founded in 1983 when engineer Fred Pirkle developed a self-actuating freeze protection valve for the railroad industry. The solution addressed a critical risk in locomotive cooling systems and became the industry standard for freeze protection.

That same thermostatic technology remains the foundation of our products used across railroad, commercial plumbing, industrial, and aerospace and defense systems.

We apply it to solve application-specific challenges, including:

  • Providing mechanical actuation in response to temperature changes without external power
  • Maintaining controlled temperatures in fluid systems
  • Preventing overheating, freezing, and scalding conditions
  • Reducing maintenance, troubleshooting, and system downtime

As customer needs expanded, ThermOmegaTech® added electronics manufacturing capabilities to provide high-reliability PCB assembly for aerospace, defense, and industrial applications, built with the same focus on performance, consistency, and quality.

Our processes are structured to meet the requirements of regulated industries, supported by an AS9100D certified quality management system and CMMC Level 2 compliance for secure handling of controlled information.

Customers rely on ThermOmegaTech® to solve problems, whether that’s with thermostatically controlled products or contract manufacturing services.

our values

Built on expertise, driven by problem solving, and strengthened by our people.

Thermal Expertise, Our Foundation

Our expertise is built on decades of experience in phase-change wax actuation. This technology enables precise, repeatable motion without external power, supporting fluid control and mechanical actuation across a wide range of operating conditions.

Problem Solving, Our Focus

Our approach is centered on solving real application challenges. We work closely with customers to understand operating conditions, identify risks, and implement solutions that maintain consistent operation.

Our People, Our Advantage

Our strength comes from a high-performing, engaged team and a culture built on accountability, collaboration, and a shared commitment to excellence.

Sustainability and Responsibility

We prioritize efficient manufacturing and internal processes to support our team, reduce environmental impact, and lower operating costs for both our facility and our customers.

  • We reduce resource consumption through both our product design and our operations.
  • Self-actuating valves eliminate external power requirements
  • Temperature control reduces water and energy waste in customer systems
  • Our facility is powered in part by rooftop solar, supporting on-site energy generation and reducing greenhouse gas emissions
