How the HCS Washdown Station Works
The HCS installs directly into an existing hot or cold water supply line. A quarter-turn ball valve controls water flow through the station, while an integrated temperature gauge provides direct indication of outlet water temperature.
The station includes a stainless-steel mounting bracket which should be used to mount the HCS in a vertical orientation so that ample room is available for valve adjustment, the hose rack, hose, and routine service.
The HCS is designed for hot or cold water service and does not mix separate water supplies. For adjustable hot and cold water mixing, use the HCX Hot & Cold Water Washdown Station. For steam and water mixing, use the STVM® Steam & Water Washdown Station.
