GURU® Valve Accessory Overview
The GURU® Flag and Clip provides a dedicated alternative to leaving a penny or washer in the valve resetting stem during maintenance. It can be used with compatible Magnum and DL2.1 GURU® Plugs.
For GURU® configurations with anti-tamper dome caps, use the GURU® Flag and Key.

How to use the GURU® Flag and Clip Tool
After the cartridge is warmed, the clip is inserted into the slot in the GURU® stem/cam to temporarily deactivate the GURU® Plug. The magnetic flag can then be attached to the side of the locomotive to provide a visible indication that the GURU® Plug has been disabled. Once the locomotive is operating and the cooling system has returned to the required temperature, the clip is removed to reactivate freeze protection.
Important: The GURU® Plug is temporarily deactivated while the tool is installed. Review the installation instructions before use and do not use the accessory unless the locomotive will be operated immediately afterward.
